On today's show, the record-setting 41-day US government shutdown may end as soon as Wednesday, after the Senate passed a temporary funding measure backed by a group of eight centrist Democrats. Bloomberg understands that Switzerland is close to securing a 15% tariff on its exports to the US. The deal, which may be concluded within the next two weeks, would be a relief after Switzerland was hit with a punishing 39% levy in August.
