President Donald Trump announced Wednesday afternoon from the Oval Office that he learned the killing in Iran has ended. Other reports say the death toll is more than 3,000 people, Fox News Digital previously reported. Iran’s judiciary had signaled a rapid crackdown, The Associated Press reported, with top judicial officials talking about fast-tracking trials for those arrested — a move that has raised alarms among rights groups about the risk of harsh sentences, including executions.
