President Donald Trump once again mocked Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for allegedly asking him over and over again for a picture at the G7 Summit in France this week, before slamming her for not doing enough to support the U.S. war in Iran. Meloni told Reuters on Friday that Trump "completely made up" this claim and that she was "astonished." "I don't know why the president of the United States behaves like this towards his allies: it is not the first time, moreover," she said.
