Two federal judges ruled that Trump Administration officials must use contingency funding to at least partially keep food-aid benefits programs for tens of millions of Americans operational. In Boston, US District Judge Indira Talwani issued a written ruling that gave US officials until Nov. 3 to file a report on whether they would authorize at least partially funding the program, and if so, what the timeline would be and whether they’d also draw on other sources of federal dollars to resume complete benefits for households.
