UFO thriller is on track to become director’s best performing original title in the US, taking just shy of $100m in global revenue after opening weekend Disclosure Day, Steven Spielberg’s thriller in which it is revealed the US has been experimenting on UFOs for almost 80 years, is on track to become his best performing original title in the US. The film, which opened in 77 territories, took $44m (£32.7m) domestically over the three-day weekend for a global total of about $92.9m (£69.4m) with $7.6m (£5.6m) of that from the UK and Ireland.
