Chris Womack, chief executive officer of utility giant Southern Co., says electricity demand is expected to grow by as much as 8% to 10%, citing what he calls “incredible demand and opportunity” looking ahead. He also comments on President Trump’s plans to sell energy directly to some technology companies through an auction process as a "good idea".
