Bloomberg Television’s Joumanna Bercetche sat down for an exclusive interview with Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on November 19 in Beirut to discuss the country’s banking, political, and geopolitical outlook. Prime Minister Salam reaffirmed Lebanon’s commitment to working with the IMF on a financial program, which he described as “a vital sign” that the country is heading in the right direction. On regional affairs, he reiterated his government's readiness to resume negotiations with Israel, urging greater US engagement to help move the process forward.
