Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam reiterates that his nation is ready to reopen negotiations with Israel, urging greater US engagement to help move the process forward. Israel launched Tuesday one of its deadliest attacks in Southern Lebanon, with tensions rising despite a US- and French-backed truce in effect for almost a year. Lebanon is mobilizing "all possible Arab and international support to put pressure on Israel not to do more than only respect its own engagements," Salam tells Bloomberg's Joumanna Bercetche in an exclusive interview in Beirut.
