If Reform UK wins the next general election, it sounds as if Nigel Farage is pretty determined to scrap the Office for Budget Responsibility and radically change the Bank of England. This morning at Davos, Bloomberg’s economics and government chief Stephanie Flanders asked the divisive party leader if, in light of these views, he’s at all worried about how markets would react.
