Readers have advice for a cross-party committee of MPs looking into the UK’s poor record at the song contest I agree with Laura Snapes that the very last thing we need is MPs’ questionable tastes entering the murky waters of the UK’s Eurovision song choice ( What do you think of the MPs’ inquiry into UK Eurovision song contest failure? I give it nul points, 21 September ). However, one thing I can’t believe hasn’t happened is for the UK to draw upon our ridiculously rich folk tradition.
