A member of the national parks firefighting team was killed by a tree near Bulahdelah in what Chris Minns said was a ‘deeply distressing turn of events’ A firefighter has died on the New South Wales mid-north coast, as the state’s premier Chris Minns issues a warning about a “foreboding beginning” to the bushfire season.
