Fact vs. Spin: Is "Everything" Going Up Because of Trump's Choices? Here Is What BLS and EIA Say About Kamala Harris's Claim

On Oct. 20, Kamala Harris said "the cost of everything from groceries and gas to housing and childcare is going up because of choices made by Donald Trump's administration." Gas is up sharply, and that spike started with the Iran war. But BLS says grocery, rent and child care prices are rising more slowly than when she left office, and grocery prices dipped this summer.
