The European Central Bank is set to keep interest rates unchanged for a third meeting, awaiting year-end projections that will offer greater clarity on harm caused by trade tensions and France’s fiscal crisis. Officials have echoed President Christine Lagarde in recent weeks, describing monetary policy as being in a “good place” for the time being with inflation near the 2% goal and the region’s 20-nation economy eking out expansion.
