Sanae Takaichi says the use of force against Taiwan could warrant a military response from Tokyo China has advised its citizens to avoid travelling to Japan, escalating a diplomatic feud sparked by comments from Tokyo’s new prime minister about a hypothetical attack on Taiwan.
