Duchy of Cornwall | In plane site | Measuring milk | Tiny spoons | Hardware standard | Fatherly advice After the successful opening of the King Charles III England coastal footpath ( Report, 19 March ), maybe his family could follow this up by giving us the right to roam over all the 130,000 acres or so of Duchy of Cornwall land? It would be hard to think of something more beneficial that would cost so little. Not so – the Bristol Type 167 Brabazon aeroplane flew from the former Filton airfield, the site of this development. An appropriate name for the project, I would have thought.
